This research aims to examine the determinants of customer loyalty for recycled goods, with customer satisfaction serving as a mediating factor. The study utilises a quantitative approach, gathering data through an online questionnaire distributed via purposive sampling. To assess the hypotheses, SEM Smart PLS analysis is applied to responses from 302 recycled product consumers. The findings reveal that brand image and environmental concern positively influence customer loyalty. Conversely, brand prestige and product quality demonstrate a negative relationship with loyalty, with the latter showing significant impact. Customer satisfaction mediates the connection between perceived price fairness, product quality, environmental concern, and customer loyalty. This research contributes to marketing and sustainability literature by demonstrating that customers can develop satisfaction and loyalty towards non-food recycled products. The evaluation revealed that while the fertilizer distribution program has been fairly effective, there are still areas for improvement. Key factors contributing to the program’s success include collaboration among various stakeholders and positive public response, both of which are crucial for any government initiative. Public support, in particular, can significantly enhance program outcomes. However, challenges remain, such as the mismatch between fertilizer quotas and demand, delayed deliveries, and slow data collection. Another promiscuous consequence of low salivary pH is dental caries, an increase in the pH can ideally be produced by gargling. Because mouthwash now contains natural substances, rooibos tea or Aspalathus linearis, is one of the most preferred mouthwash. Aspalathus linearis is caffeine free, is low in tannins, is fortified with antioxidants besides having fluoride content in it; and has E6CG which may promote enhanced flow of saliva leading to raised saliva pH level. This research aimed to examine the effect of gargling Aspalathus linearis on salivary pH changes. An experimental pretest-posttest control group design was employed with two treatments: The two are Aspalathus linearis and aquades (distilled water). Paired Sample T-Test and Independent T-Test were used for data analysis. The study found that rinsing with Aspalathus linearis resulted in a significant increase in salivary pH levels, indicating its potential in promoting a less acidic oral environment. However, when compared to rinsing with aquades. This suggests that while rooibos tea can positively influence salivary pH, its effectiveness may not differ significantly from that of plain water in this context.</p> Margaretha HERAWATI, Tarisha Aulia PUTRI ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://iccd.asia/ojs/index.php/iccd/article/view/736 Mon, 04 Nov 2024 09:19:03 +0000 OPTIMIZATION OF KONYAL FRUIT BUSINESS POTENTIAL FOR INCREASING FAMILY ECONOMIC VALUE: INTEGRATION OF ISLAMIC PRINCIPLES IN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT https://iccd.asia/ojs/index.php/iccd/article/view/737 <p style="font-weight: 400;">This community service activity aims to optimize the potential of konyal fruit as a means of enhancing family economic value in Sumedang Regency, West Java, by integrating Islamic principles into business development. The learning method we use involves several stages. First, we present two animated educational videos about letters and numbers, as well as animated videos introducing numbers, along with various interactive approaches for the participants with intellectual disabilities. The selection of participants is also based on the criteria and categories set by the institution. The results of this animated video learning are not only engaging and enjoyable but also foster good interaction between participants, educators, parents, and their environment. Children and teenagers live in a creative world where they need room to move, think, and get emotional guidance. Engaging in reading activities is one approach to increase creativity. As compared to other nations, Indonesians still show a very low level of interest in reading books. According to UNESCO data, the nation has the second-lowest literacy rate in the world. Indonesia is ranked 60th out of 61 countries in terms of interest in reading books. Relevant parties should move quickly to facilitate and investigate the source of the public's loss of interest in reading. One strategy to promote creativity and a love of reading among the younger population—especially children—is to establish children's libraries. After a community development project came to an end on June 6, 2024, the children of the Hafidhin Royan Orphanage in South Jakarta City gained access to a small library called as "Pojok Pustaka." Reading bookshelves have been placed in kid-friendly areas to complete the service project.&nbsp; The orphanage children said they were happy to read the many picture books Pojok Pustaka had given them when asked about their feelings. Jawa Sehati Mulia is an MSME which operates in the field of producing soy sauce made from local black soybeans with several product variants including sweet soy sauce, spicy soy sauce, barbeque soy sauce, etc. Based on the situation analysis, several problems were found, including those related to marketing management aspects related to marketing using digital platforms. There are still limited marketing media that support digital marketing, including product photography, e-catalogs and social media content. Community service with this MSME scheme aims to increase HR capacity in marketing promotions including product photography, designing e-catalogs and social media content. In this community service activity, the service team provides intensive counseling and assistance to partners related to marketing aspects. Service partners will be trained to prepare marketing content which will later be implemented on various digital platforms. This community service is very important to help soy sauce industry increase their production capacity, as well as market and distribute services through digital channels. It is hoped that carrying out these community service activities can help MSMEs become more productive. The academic output produced through this activity is that students involved in this community service activity can apply the knowledge gained in lectures to be implemented with partners. Apart from that, students also get direct experience when engaging and interacting with service partner community groups. Lecturers can also contribute to society based on the results of previous research. Meanwhile, the expected outcome of partner empowerment through this activity is that partners will gain insight so that they have the ability to implement marketing strategies in an effort to optimize the marketing of products managed by partners. The study used a qualitative approach, which involved interviews with five selected local community members who were selected based on their understanding about the management aspect as well as the local heritage environment. Through a Focus Group Discussion and coding analysis, it was found that KHT is managed to educate community at large about local heritage using a less rigid social entrepreneurship pattern. Findings show that the determinant factors to the sustainability of the group come in four categories, including operations, marketing, human resources, and finance. The city of Malang has an interesting place that can be a reference for studying the history, development and variety of music in the country, namely the Indonesian Music Museum (MMI) which is located which holds a collection of more than 26,000 musical works. This museum is the only music museum in the country. The obstacle encountered by MMI as a service partner is the limited museum promotional content uploaded on digital platforms. So far, the content usually produced is limited to museum collections, such as collections of cassettes, vinyl, and books about musicians as well as photos of activities. This paper explores the use of e-zines as a strategic tool for promoting Indonesian women jazz musicians, focusing on effective strategies and best practices for maximizing their impact. The study examines how e-zines, leveraging their multimedia capabilities and interactive features, can provide a dynamic platform for showcasing the talent and achievements of these artists. By analyzing various case studies and successful examples, the paper identifies key strategies such as engaging storytelling, high-quality content production, and targeted audience outreach. These strategies are crucial for enhancing visibility, building a dedicated fan base, and fostering greater appreciation for Indonesian women in the jazz genre. In addition to outlining effective promotional tactics, the paper delves into best practices for e-zine development and distribution. It emphasizes the importance of consistent content updates, professional presentation, and integration with social media channels to maximize reach and engagement. The findings offer valuable insights for e-zine creators, music promoters, and the artists themselves, providing a comprehensive framework for leveraging digital platforms to support and elevate the profiles of Indonesian women jazz musicians. One of the reasons is the lack of awareness of the importance of financial management. Because they do not know much about financial management, MSME players tend to ignore regulations. However, accounting records and financial management will be very helpful in assessing performance.
